Command History of My Life

📆 2026-04-18 09:02

Some people keep journals. I remember things like a terminal history. Not everything. Just the commands that mattered.

$ boot

No memory of this. Only the aftermath.

$ learn --walk --talk --repeat

Ran for years. Still running, in some ways.

$ connect --people

Some connections timed out. Some stayed open longer than expected. Only a few are still active.

$ make --mistakes

Ran in the background. Consumed more resources than intended.

$ trust --random-people

Security warning ignored.

$ make --plans && cancel --plans

This command started as soon as I got married ...

$ apt install motivation

Reading package lists... Done

Building dependency tree... Done

E: Unable to locate package motivation

$ exercise

Command skipped

$ become --adult

Still installing... Estimated time remaining: unknown

$ kill -9 stress

Operation not permitted.

$ systemctl restart me

Temporary fix.

$ update --self

Changelog unclear. New bugs introduced.

$ sleep --8h

Permission denied.

$ ps aux | grep energy

No results: grep --color=auto energy

$ ping success

Request timed out.

$ plan --future

Segmentation fault

$ exit

Process still running.
