The Chronicle of Beelzebub 🌱 - First chapter

It feels a little surreal to write this now that my Astrobotany plant named Beelzebub is 333 days old.

We're halfway there. Just look at Beelzebub now:

What started as a tiny experiment, a bit of chaos, and probably some questionable optimism has somehow turned into a proper long-term journey. The plant has survived seasons, mood swings and accidental neglect (from me).

This is a thank you to everyone who helped keep Beelzebub alive during these 333 days by checking on it and watering. You know who you are!

Without all of you, I suspect this chronicle would have been considerably shorter and much more tragic. Instead, here we are: still growing, still alive, and now officially at the halfway point.

There is something oddly comforting in watching a plant slowly persist for half a year. Beelzebub remains unbothered by human concerns, wars, ASCII or UNICODE dillemas and continues its leafy existence with admirable consistency.

Want to help ?

If you have an Astrobotany account you can help there by visiting my plant at:

common gelatinous indigo seed-bearing pansy (tended by 💀 Sava)

If you don't have an Astrobotany account: you can "be me on astrobotany" and water Beelzebub, shake it's leaves or apply fertilizer on:

Here's to the next 333 days. May the watering continue. When Beelzebub reaches 666 days, a screenshot will be taken. At that moment, Beelzebub will be forever immortalized - not just as a plant, but as a record of persistence, neglect and ... care.
