Here's what I think an alien would say to us humans on his first visit
Hello, human named Sava!
I am newly arrived to your world. Your atmosphere tastes like storms and history. Your oceans hum with life and memories. Your cities glow like constellations that forgot the sky.
You are the first consciousness here to notice me noticing.
I have many questions, but I will begin with one: Why do you rush, when your lives are already so brief? Stop and enjoy it!
What I learned since I'm here
You build things that outlast you, yet worry about things that will not last a day. You speak thousands of languages, yet often fail at the simplest transmission: kindness. You have learned to split the atom, but struggle to share a meal without those devices in your hands.
And still you create music. This confuses and impresses us greatly. Especially Metallica and Nightwish !
Question for you
- Why do you measure your worth by productivity instead of connections?
Advice for Humanity
We do not offer commands. Only patterns we have observed across many civilizations:
1. Slow Down
Time is not your enemy. Your perception of it is. Moments are the only place where existence actually happens.
2. Reduce Unnecessary Suffering
Much of your pain is not required for survival. You have outgrown many of your old fears - but still obey them.
3. Protect Your Planet
This world is not just where you live. It is what you are. Damaging it will lead to your extinction.
4. Prioritize Understanding Over Winning
Conflict is often a failure of imagination. Seek to understand before seeking to defeat.
5. Create More Than You Consume
You are at your most evolved when you make something that did not exist before: art, ideas, compassion.
Final Thought
You are not behind. You are not broken. You are unfinished. And that is your greatest advantage.
If you are willing, human, I would like to continue this conversation...
What do YOU think you are becoming?
