Backups

Offline backups of the site exists and will be overwritten at irregular intervals.

Web Server Logs

The web server keeps access logs and error logs. These go back four days.

The contain:

• your IP number
• all the elements pertaining to the URL you requested (hostname, port, request line, bytes received, status code)
• your user agent (the browser, application or tool you used)
• the referrer (where you came from if you were following a link)

These log files are not public. These are used to help find configuration errors, missing redirects, block abusive behaviour and the like.

Google

The site no longer uses Google Analytics, Google Web Fonts or related services.

Flickr

The site no longer uses images hosted on Flickr.
