MS AI open sources a markdown converter

I dunno if I trust Microsoft to not steal my stories / works when using this thing. what are thoughts on this?

Don’t feed any AI any data that you might ever want to claim as yours, unless you self-host the training sets and the whole thing. Every AI, especially the “public” ones, are basically giant hoovers for IP. Don’t give them an inch.

Not only will it hoover your IP, your queries aren't guaranteed secure either. If you're a business, your competitors might be able to figure out what your problems are by what you're doing with a public AI.

Do not trust any data-hungry service to not collect your data. If you don't want to leak information, you better self-host and run the models in an offline machine.
