No, but I love reading orthodox theology and have a great respect for our eastern friends and pray that Christ gives everyone the strength to resolve this nearly 1,000-year schism in the body of the church.
The Magyar people were only one marriage away from going with the Greek world instead of the Latin.
Orthodox Christianity was crucified about 2000 years ago.

Non-denominational and sephardic, but am always glad to wax lyrical n crack wise on philosophy, theology, etc to do with any fellow ibrahimic bretheren. :D
Fun fact: the Benedictines at Tihany told me that in the hermit caves next to their monastery in the good old days they had Basilite monks. The great schism happened and they, apparently, lived together for another 200 or so years, with a continued supply of "new" Eastern monks, because everyone forgot to tell them that supposedly there was a schism!

Eastern Orthodox here, of the Russian Church. Seems to be the first definitive "yes" in 5 months, so I felt obliged to respond…
