One year dumbphone anniversary
I recently celebrated one year with my Nokia 2780 Flip. Moving to a dumbphone was actually a lot easier than I expected, and I'm glad I made the switch for my mental health and my attention span. I wrote a short gemlog about my experience - what went well and what I still need to move away from - on my personal site:

On an unrelated note - I'm thinking about moving to an AGM M9 if my phone breaks and can't be repaired. I like the idea of a tiny candybar phone over a folding phone, and it's nearly half the price of my current Nokia. Unfortunately I can't find any simple flipphones like it in a reasonable price range under T-Mobile's carrier network. Most of the similarly priced candybars I've seen don't support US networks, and my second-choice phone, the Nokia 225 4G, isn't on sale anywhere anymore. Does anyone have other suggestions for candybar phones that can connect to T-Mobile's network?

good write up and congratulations. I have the F1 but due to the friction I reverted back to my pixel 6.
I play pickleball and recently found out the only way to use the automatic ball machine was to download an app and sync via Bluetooth.
recently a wholesale club I joined would only give you a membership card through their app. I asked if there was another way, and there wasn't.
Having two kids and a spouse, it was too much.
it's a good conversation piece but also I shamefully admit I was ashamed to bring my F1 out of my pocket on more than a few occasions.
keep up the good fight.
