the importance of accessibility
i think people forget how important accessibility is to networks like i2p and yggdrasil... they aren't easy to access at all,; unlike tor, which i believe is why they're underused and filled with dead sites.
it kinda undermines alot of both of the networks strengths which is the ability to self-host without a static ip address, which makes it possible for anyone to broadcast their stuff onto the internet with relative ease. if its super hard for people to get to your website, what good is it anyways?
its also why i appreciate gemini's community to making very aesthetically pleasing and feature filled clients : D, i love lagrange, using it feels very productive somehow

Real talk: I am far from a smooth brain, but I can't wrap my head around accessing yggdrasil. I used i2p like 10 - 15 years ago sometime and found it was okay but didn't have a lot of content. Was only a minor PITA to access. I quit when I found something very disturbing and never went back.

I have known about I2P for about 20 years (or however long this network has been around), but I finally started using it just now, as I have gained some experience in understanding networking principles. It is definitely not for casual users who are just using their phones with one finger.
Even if the I2P software could be more user-friendly, this simplicity does not prevent users from behaving irresponsibly while using it without a basic understanding. A fundamental understanding is necessary because there is no simple, user-friendly way.
Privacy is not just about software; it's a mindset. When you understand every step you take and every word you use, and remember your actions’ history - or at least try to follow this challenging model. I2P provides only network identity obfuscation, nothing more; it does not make you protected by simply using a user-friendly service. This is impossible in a world of liars who promise simple solutions to complex issues.

Yggdrasil in particular probably won't get easier to use any time soon. Creator Neil Alexander has stated many times that the primary goal of Yggdrasil is to explore decentralized routing schemes that can scale to the size of the modern Internet. It's implemented as an IPv6 overlay network only because that makes it easier to test on current hardware and software. The overlay network itself is not the goal.
In fact, the current 0200::/7 prefix is only used because the original RFC that referenced it (RFC1888) has been deprecated by RFC4048. The IANA still reserves that space and could reassign it to something else at any time--one proposal intended to do just that in 2023, though it was not adopted.

i2p and yggdrasil are cool. but lagrange is terrible)
@baran, try Yoda browser - I'm using it every day for all networks:

Recently, launched Radicle instance over I2P, so you could try grab the sources by this way:
Some examples about the I2P proxy usage with Git:
