OMG! Lagrange plays inline audio!
I have taken the risk of linking an audio "improperly" in the last entry of my gemlog. I'm curious to see if the day comes when I get any formal warnings, considering that GAFAM pretend the gemini protocol doesn't exist.
What I expected was that, even in Lagrange, the link would offer to download the audio file or open it in the system's default application. But when I pressed it, an embedded player appeared on the page and the audio started playing!
I think that Lagrange's description in this subspace needs to be updated.

That's so cool! I didn't know that Lagrange could do that!
Maybe I haven't understood it correctly and maybe what I'm saying is something already known: there are radio stations by gemini.
Lagrange supports some codecs (mp3, vorbis). I would love it if it had opus support.

Indeed, the audio I just uploaded to my post is in opus format.

Opus is supported by Lagrange, however it is an optional dependency so there is no guarantee the build you're using has it enabled. Also, until very recently there were bugs that caused some Opus files to play back as loud static noise (a bug related to the number of audio channels).
