My love of Maximalist Design and Art
The reason I love Maximalist design and art is because of how may things there are on screen, and I like looking at an image that has so many different colors, shapes, forms, lines and etc, alongside a ton of detail. Obviously, I can't practice Maximalism on the Gemini network, and I technically can try Maximalism with only HTML code on a Hyphanet flog/sharesite and stuff. I don't know what is it that attracted me to Maximalism in the first place, ok it's mainly because I think Minimalism is "too bland" which is funny coming from me, since I enjoy gaudy colored clothing with strange fabrics, like a pink and black dress with bohemian patterns and some checkerboard patterns on the bottom.
Honestly, this is another perfect gemlog topic, since I do want to add more stuff for my Gemini Capsule this month, and I'll only post new artwork on my personal website, and soon my Hyphanet only personal website (I might make it a mirror of my personal website, maybe.)

I browsed some of the stuff on your disroot. Which do you consider to be maximalist? 62424.png? I like the background. It reminds me of the old Earthbound game for SNES.

Ok, so I drew this on my Switch using a software called Colorslive, basically a piece of software I used since 2012 pretty much, and I used the bristle tool for the background and shading, I use the "classic brush" for the line art, coloring and the doodles in the background.
I sometimes make simple backgrounds with just the bristle tool, or I'll use all my art tools to make a background too.
Minimalism is a concept invented by big small to sell more less.
