Is it just me or is today’s Spellbinding the same as March 30th’s, just with a different central letter? What are the odds?! One in 26 choose 7 = 657,800 right?

The dictionary has under 50,000 words (took me years to soft through them, and still some errors).

There are around 7,000 pangram- eligible words, if I remember correctly. Times seven for possible centers .

But many result in very large, tedious games, or tiny impossible games with like 5 words. I filter for a range of 50 to 150, I think.

I keep a list of played games to avoid duplicates.

I personally haven't played a dupe game yet, not that I know of.

There haven't been dupe games. possibly same letters, but with a different anchor letter the solutions are different.

I check against old games to avoid duplicates

@lab6, if you don't specify time the odds are 100%
