I also installed "newsd", a kind of private news-server, yesterday. Created a few hierarchies, among which a "gemini.bolla" one, dedicated to the bubble instance I'm running for Italian people., Everything it's new and shiny.. and empty, lol, but I'm having lots of fun.

— dragfyre's talk.bizarre archive

talk.bizarre posts — I already shared this elsewhere – — but in case you feel like reading something really old, I've been gradually posting an archive of my old posts on talk.bizarre. I can't guarantee that most of them are any good but there are at least a few good ones in there.

few days ago I browsed Usenet first time and it was.... boring tbh. I couldn't find any content part of the reason was that my usenet server admin says they haven't federated with other usenet servers so I was only seeing local post, local server having only two users me and the admin. is there any good usenet out there I could participate in?

A precious few news groups are still inhabited by humans; some are inhabited by spam bots; most are plain dead. This is of course subjective to where I looked at and the depth of my research. There is some meaningful discussion in the groups that are still alive. There are very few groups on modern topics (e.g., there is a Raspberry Pi...
