I've been daily-driving Alpine Linux on my laptop (I know, crazy?), It's been quite a great experience despite having to build from source or using flatpaks, and that NVIDIA proprietary drivers don't work here.
Any other Alpine daily-driver users here on BBS?

I'd love to give Alpine a try, but as a hobbyist from a decidedly non-technical field, it'll take quite the learning curve... and I'm not sure I want to make it a daily driver just yet. big thanks to devs like @raspbeguy who help keep good projects like this running though.

I find it quite good ; not a crazy idea at all. The package management is virtually garbage-free (I look at you, Debian !) ; the boot procedure configurable and debugable for humans (I look at you, systemd !) ; the community friendly, nerdy and efficient : what could you ask for more ? I find Musl cleaner than Glibc ; though at a cost.
