(SOLVED) 🔐 Does anyone know how to import an existing identity cert from another client (Lagrange)?

Side quest: has anyone found where certs are stored when using `cert new`?

update: did a bit more poking, created a new cert and then search for any files modified in the last minute.

this revealed this directory

gonna see if i can drop in my certs from lagrange to match the cert and key filenames. i suspect i might need to do some more work to link them to the site, but this is a start.

update: i've written up how to migrate certs to offpunk (link folks)

to assign a cert to a site, you have to "go name@example.com", name being in this case "someuser".

if you are already in the site and have the cert and key in place, typing "cert" (or certs? you can press tab) should let you select it, if I recall correctly.

you can also then bookmark the site with the 'someuser@' in the address and then visiting again is much easier.

Thanks for that tip. I think that’s pretty much everything needed to transfer your identity certs. I’ll write it up and post the link here
