privacy for hosting gemini site? β Hello friend I know gemini use the limited protocol itself to protect the privacy of the client, but what about the host? How do you protect your own privacy when you hosting a site? or do you not worry about exposing your information (like your IP or your email or anything people can get from your domain name) on the net? Surveillance in Gemini β Adversary can tell very specifically which one gemini page a user is requesting, based on the size of server response. There is no need to decrypt the channel to learn which page is transmitted there, the only thing that matters is the size of that message. Question about the Small Web β I'm not sure about a lot of the benifits of the small web. Like there's nothing to stop web crawlers from mining data and using LLMs to associate a user name to a legal name, there's very few people that share the same life story. I bet the archives in Textfiles.com has pointed what a kid said 35 years ago to his late 40's legal name by some Pinkertons.
