• 3,800 million years ago - Life appears on earth. It is simple and fragile, it can only survive in areas similar to its point of origin.
• 3,400 million years ago - Life masters photosynthesis - harnessing power of sun. More energy means more expansion and more areas to settle
• 1,500 million years ago - Multi-cellular life appears on earth. Collaboration between cells, specialisation of cells fuels expansion to fully settle Earth oceans.
• 500 million years ago - Multi-cellular life colonises land, plants and first land animals explore the new frontier
• 250 million years ago - Life learns to control its body temperature independently allowing it to settle in extreme cold and heat areas. This also allows for larger brains through efficient heat management. Earth settled everywhere but in the most extreme areas.
• 2.5 million years ago - Intelligent life appears. First species of Home. For the first time life can analyse the world around it and self reflect.
• present - Intelligent life makes first steps into surrounding Earth space
• 600 million years from now - Earth habitability severely decrease due to increase in Suns luminosity
• 1,000 million years from now - Further increase in Suns luminosity evaporates Earth oceans making it mostly uninhabitable

Since its origin on Earth, life was always about multiplication and expansion into new areas. At this point non-intelligent life spread everywhere it could through evolution. Humans are the first life that was able to live in the cold of Antarctic and vacuum of space, but we've yet to settle it with life.

As only intelligent life on Earth it is our role to bring Earth life to other planets and even interplanetary and interstellar space itself. Through use of selection and genetic engineering we can help lifeforms adapt to life in other environments in terms of decades instead of millions of years.

It is even more critical due to Earth life being on a very tight deadline. Earth will become uninhabitable for most of complex life in just 600 million years. That means that life already used 86% of all available time for development. It is up to intelligent life to make sure that it doesn't end here.

Even if intelligent life might not survive, we can lay foundation for Earth-originated intelligence to rise again somewhere else. This is our meaning, this is why we've been "put on earth".
