You could try with Natsume Yūjin-chō (it has seven seasons and a movie) and Super Cub (one season).
Also, it would be interesting if, in addition to searching online platforms, you searched for a series subtitled by fansubs (torrents, emule, etc).

Utena is gooooood. Also I'd recommend checking out Princess Jellyfish if you haven't seen it, it's very pretty and weird and about found family.
For a more recent one maybe try My Dress-Up Darling which is my favorite anime of the year. It's arguably an anime about cosplay. :)
I get the fear of the carnivore thing...
Although, once someone at a bar asked a vegan friend of mine if he he would starve if we were stuck there with no veggies . He said 'I'd cook your ass on that stove."

@stack Remember, many herbivores in nature will eat meat if they're lacking in something like how deer or horses will eat injured birds...so...
@bsj38381 Shadows House is pretty good! I've binged it in one session!
What sort of art and plots do you like?

@Pav I like a mix of cute anime art styles, some grungy ones and some different looking ones.
@bsj38381 Yuru Camp is cutesy and relaxing and especially quaint if you're into hiking, but I'm not sure if I'd call the style novel in any way...
A place further than the universe was very good for the plot and characters
Undead Unluck had pretty cool graphics but I'm not sure it's your style
Also, give Dungeon Meshi a try. The art and plot are surprising and unique

Anime I'm checking out — Since I wanted to watch more anime in my demographic (A female audience) and I might slowly watch more anime for a female audience over time. Anime for a female audience according to My anime list and some article I read online a year ago. I'll add more pictures later on this month.
