i have .tap files for spectnum:
- batty - it is an arkanoid clone i loved when i wan a kid.
- jack the nipper 2 (in coconut something).
for oric i have there only pulsoids written in the beginning of 21st century, again arkanoid clone but with lines instead of balls.

@norayr lol "Batty" is a great name for an Arkanoid clone. π
π norayr Β· Feb 05 at 08:20:
why? (:
bat is an animal, i never understood why the name.
π drcouzelis Β· Feb 05 at 11:59:
bat is an animal
"Bat" is also the word for a stick used to hit something, like "baseball bat".
Adding "y" to the end makes a word sound cute.
"Batty" also means to go crazy.
So, it's a cute name of a game where you go crazy trying to hit a ball with a stick! π

thank you. (:

This weekend I plan to play Tecmo Bowl for Game Boy. It's more fun than watching the big Super Bowl American football game. π
Hikaru no Go 1-2 on GBA for go game beginners.

Iβm kind of bouncing around to various retro games right now and need to pick a lane. Started going the the Soul Calibur series last year, did Soul Blade on PS1 (MisterFPGA), Soul Calibur (Dreamcast), Soul Calibur II (Wii), Soul Calibur III (PS2) and then skipped to VI and played mostly on Steam Deck. I need to return to it but havenβt gotten a working PS3 setup going yet and the PSP version was weirdly hard.
I am playing way too much Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries. Itβs not a retro game but has a lot of retro game wonk and makes me happy.

in linux there are some retro (not vintage) games: nebulous, supertux, burgerspace.
i like to have oric atmos emulator installed and pulsoids is the best arcanoid game i ever seen.

I'm playing Earthworm Jim for the Sega Genesis!
I loved and played the 8-bit port for the original Game Boy a TON back in the 90s, and I've always wanted to play the original. It's a lot of fun, but I keep dying on the stages that weren't in the GB port because I don't have those memorized! π

apparently i already commented. anyway.
