same, I use mihon, but also, some mangas, if they have a font big enough, I download them in PDF and I put them in my e-reader. That's my favorite way to read manga. even more than read them in actual paper.

I've switched to Kotatsu after the legal drama with Tachiyomi. It doesn't require installing individual sources and has a nicer UI. KOReader with a manga plugin on an e-reader seems like the endgame way to read, but I'd need to jailbreak my kindle first.
I didnt know about a manga plugin for koreader... I will try it!

I’ve got an e-reader too, a Kobo, but transferring manga from my laptop or phone to my Kobo is a bit of a hassle, so I usually just read it on my phone instead.
I didn't know much about KOReader or any manga plugins either, but I’ve been checking it out and it looks pretty cool. I think I’ll give it a shot as well

I didn't switch to Nihon because is not available on f-droid so I am very lost. I continue to use Tachyiomi but is half broken.
Kotatsu is not available on F-Droid from where did you got it? Thanks... 🙏

As far as I know, Kotatsu is not on any app store. It's self-updating.
Download from https://kotatsu.app/download

I see... I am not very enthusiastic on running apps outside of F-droid... 🤔

I just checked and Kotatsu is on F-Droid. It's hidden from search by default because it relies on 3rd party manga sources which, to F-Droid, is an anti-feature. You can change that in the settings.

You were right I haven't noticed it so far... 🤷♂️ I need to learn how to use it though...
By the way thanks for double checking... 👍
I still use kotatsu, even though it's archived. It's still the only one that works on my ancient phone (android 7.1)

This is going to be silly, but... I use a little one-page-web-app that will let you open CBZ file in a browser. Super-minimal interface - next, previous and scale - but it suffices.
This thread made me curious about what the plugin for koreader was. Digging around appears that Rakuyomi is the way to go. I installed it on my Kobo and it appears to be the way to go. I'm still digging through all the providers because there are a ton of them to choose from. It allows you to directly download on the device, no need to have any host software on my desktop at all.
I've been using YACreader/Library both on my Laptop and Phone and it's quite neat. You can even create a basic server to access your library from another device.

How do you all read manga? I’ve been using Tachiyomi/Mihon for a couple of years now, and they've really changed the way I read manga. Before that, I mostly relied on various online sites of rather poor quality, but since discovering these apps, I've found myself reading a lot more than before. I’m really curious to hear about your experiences. What sites or apps do you use to read manga? Do you have any recommendations or tips?
