I hope so too, had to sleep in the van for a night recently due to a cat using my bed as a personal kill chamber and me coming home too tired to deal with cleanup 💀 the cot matress was just big enough for a comfortable sleep, the single bed frame had like 2 feet of wasted space width wise which was a lot for a minivan. Weighed a lot more too which im sure affects gas mileage somewhat. As I mentioned my 4 inch memory foam meditation cushion was magically almost the same width as the cot so if I buy 2 or 3 more of them and stick them underI will have a truly comfy bed indeed + modular cushoning :)

I rented a car for a few days and the only thing they had was a minivan. Wife & I loved it! I'm not sure if there's a more space-efficient vehicle in the US than a minivan at this point. I'd buy one in a heartbeat if I could jack it up with 6" of clearance on the underside + AWD.

Cot In My Minivan — the single bed frame took up too much room and was very heavy, a cot ended up being much nicer on space which is the most important thing to me. a couple more big meditation cushions under the thermarest pad + cot sheets and I'll be set on bedding.
