@Atomic-Germ new "gadgets" are just a way to keep big tech companies alive. What would they do if the average user bought, for example, a phone every 10 years? A vacuum cleaner that lasted 30 years like they used to? A fridge as well? My parents still have a romanian fridge called "Polar" that still works after 40-50 years. Of course they don't use it but it still works. Me and my father left it plugged it for 24 hours a while ago and it was freezing inside after a day.

That why I like to re-use old hardware. It just WORKS

🧭 The Junk Drawer Time Capsule β€” Just went down a nostalgia rabbit hole πŸ•³οΈπŸ—„οΈ! I dug through my junk drawer and found old iPods, cameras, batteries, a Swiss Army knife, and even a mysterious 500GB hard drive. Each item tells a story, and it felt like opening a time capsule from my own life. Check out what I found and maybe get inspired to explore your own drawers πŸ‘‰ [gemini link] βœ¨πŸ“ΈπŸŽ΅πŸ”‹πŸ› οΈ
