@darkghost I'm guessing Vanilla Firefox probably has more memory, and it's why I hope to find a 32bit browser for my old ThinkPad tablet X61.

Last year I was desperate about my old laptop overheating and shutting down from browsing. I tried a dozen 'smaller' browsers but the ones that worked ok used even more resources than Livrewolf.

I would avoid vanilla Firefox due to privacy and built-in AI crap

Aw man, that's a series bummer. (How do smaller web browsers take even more resources, that makes no sense) maybe Lynx could work on my old Thinkpad Tablet, or maybe even R3dfox, but meh.

Midori was my go-to for small but capable. But they were acquired, switched engines to the same one firefox uses (while somehow using more resources than Firefox,) and now peddle some VPN service. Otter uses webkitgtk, which uses more resources than base chromium. It goes on like this until you start getting into less capable browsers like netsurf and links with graphics.

I tried Netsurf, I still hope it'll get an update since it's the lightest one for far, imo.

I really like Floorp and also like Librewolf + Etc โ It has been a while since I used Librewolf, the browser did work pretty well for me, and then I moved to the Floorp browser a year ago. I'll still keep the Floorp browser since it's also open source, but I also noticed that Floorp has 500+ MB compared to Librewolf which has 100+ MB. So I'm kind of torn tbh. I'll still keep Floorp since my Syncthing is connected to it. I only gripe with Floorp is that it can be a little glitchy, but not...
