UNIX way/KISS monitoring and alerting What do you use to monitor multiple machines/servers/services/etc? I am interested in the most simple, flexible, and robust approach to monitoring/alerting. What kind of software, approaches, etc. Systems like Nagios/Icinga and Zabbix seem to me very overloaded and are one big point of failure. I know about Monit, Munin, RRDTools.
