Re: "Sadly my laptop has a Broadcom WiFi card so i cant really…"
I remember my first laptop having a Broadcom chip and preventing me from trying out any Linux operating systems, ended up buying a USB Wi-Fi adapter for cheap.

I remember once upon a time the only wifi device I had was a usb dongle with a Broadcom chip, and FreeBSD could use it but only with an unencrypted network. I wish the situation had improved, but Broadcom support never seems to be good.

Swapping out your wifi card may not be very difficult or expensive. You can also use FreeBSD for things other than a work station. Currently I only have it running on some servers.
