Laptop Recommendations

My trusty Dell Inspiron 3153 laptop, which was already showing signs of wear after a decade of continuous use, became waterlogged last week when a drainage pipe in our laundry room failed. We dried it out and found that it still works, but I don't know for how much longer. I think it's finally time for a replacement.

I'm looking for a laptop that is reasonably thin and lightweight; the Inspiron has an 11-inch screen and weighs 1.4 kg, and I'd like to get a computer around that size, if not slightly smaller. The more physical ports, the better: 3 USB type A ports and HDMI output (as opposed to mini HDMI) would be nice. Ideally, I'd like an optical drive, but I know that's almost impossible to come by these days, so it's not a dealbreaker if I can't get one.

This computer would run Fedora Linux, so I'd like to have good compatibility with Linux kernel drivers, though I know that's less of a problem than it used to be. Repairability/modularity is also a plus but not essential. Other specs really don't matter at all; I can get by with very little CPU or RAM.
