Re: "To everyone interested in Japanese language & culture"
@balloon

I am deeply sorry if my recent actions or comments caused any offense. It was never my intention to disregard s/Japan, and I want you to know that I fully respect your role as moderator and the way you manage the subspace.
In fact, I am immensely grateful to you. It was through your website, capsule, and your posts across Geminispace that I was inspired to join and enjoy this world. Without your activities, I wouldn't be part of this community today.
To explain the background of my misunderstanding:
1. I mistakenly thought "posts in Japanese" in the description meant that the space was only for Japanese language posts.
2. I had overlooked the font installation prompts in Lagrange.
3. Because of these two points, I wrongly assumed there was no place to discuss Japan-related topics in other languages.
I deeply regret that my lack of attention and careless remarks led to this situation. Please accept my sincerest apologies.

@Goat
Thank you for your kind and warm suggestion. However, I would like you to take a look at the comment I sent to @balloon. My previous remarks were based on a misunderstanding that s/Japan was for Japanese language posts only.
I am sorry that I couldn't follow through with your suggestion at the time. Nevertheless, I was truly happy to receive your comment. Thank you very much.

To everyone who commented:
Whether or not I delete this thread will depend on the upcoming replies from @balloon and @Goat. However, I feel it is best to avoid further increasing the activity here for now.
Therefore, I have decided to reply to individuals directly instead. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
I think it's great to have an English sub as proposed. I sadly do not know Japanese but would love to learn more about all things Japanese.
And the sub in Japanese language has its place as well.

ああ、自分は @knshow さんのこの投稿を不快には思っていないので、安心して下さい。
数日盛り上げようとしている姿に関心していました。
Oh, I don't offend this post by @knshow, so don't worry.
For a few days, I enjoyed watching what you were trying to liven up.

That's right... How about separating the subspace?
- s/日本語 - Where to post in Japanese
- s/Japan - About Japan (Mainly in English)
If you are interested in Japan but don't understand Japanese,
will you be able to post?

Thank you for your kind words. I’m relieved to hear that. I was just worried you might be thinking, "This cheeky brat who showed up out of nowhere is overstepping his bounds... does he have a problem with the sub-space I built?"
When I first joined, the logs here and in other Gemini spaces were a mix of posts from hours or even days ago, with many different people. But lately, I felt like I’ve been posting so much that I might be burying everyone else’s logs... and I’ve been feeling a bit guilty about it.
I’ll make sure to read the English more carefully from now on and try not to be a nuisance!
I don't think we are that strict here!
Thank you for being so considerate -- a rare quality in the English-speaking world.
If someone really doesn't like your posts, they can always mute you.
But you are nowhere near spamming, just the opposite. I look forward to reading more of your posts
I don't think you were doing something wrong, and I don't think anybody else did either!

@stack Sorry for the late reply! I've been getting so many notifications lately that I accidentally missed yours.
In the Japanese internet culture, I've often seen people get bashed for "failing to read the room," so I was a bit scared of making a mistake, lol. Especially since this is an English-speaking community and I don't know the culture well yet, I was even more nervous.
I’m so happy to hear that you’re looking forward to my posts! :)
@Sophira Sorry for the late reply! I've been getting so many notifications lately that I accidentally missed yours.
Hearing you say that really puts my mind at ease. Like I mentioned in my reply to stack, I guess I was just overthinking it because of my worrying nature! lol

Hi everyone!
Since @balloon 's hard work has successfully separated s/Japan and s/Japanese, I’ve moved this post to s/Japan. I also changed the settings back so it shows up in "All posts" again.
Everyone, please feel free to keep posting in s/Japan! I’ll be happy to answer anything as long as it's within my knowledge!
@goat
Thanks to your suggestion, things related to Japan are going to move forward even more. Thank you so much!!! <3

To everyone interested in Japanese language & culture — Hi. I've been feeling so grateful for the help I receive from this community, and I've been wondering how I could give something back. Since I was born and raised in Japan and have lived here my whole life, I figured I could share some "real" Japanese as a native speaker. Whether it’s a simple question like "Does 'Konnichiwa(こんにちは)' really just mean 'Hello'?" or anything about Japanese slang and culture, feel free to ask me in either…
