Recently went on a little neogeo binge because I was curious about what I was missing out on. Might be my favourite puzzle game as I like the faster pace than things like tetris or puyo puyo and it doesn't feel as complicated. Still struggle beating my gf at it but it's at least a 50/50 there when I tend to do way worse at these.
Another game I really like that feels really similar is Twinkle Star Sprites, it's more of a shoot em' up though. Would recomend if you like shmups and magical drop.

Last saturday, my daughter and I played Magical Drop, a beautiful, nice, funy and challenger videogame from Data East and SNK, for the Neo Geo game devices. I love that game, it helps to develop important executive skills, like Candy Crush but without garbage.
