Another amusing one is that all yhese EV 12v batteries are running out, even though they have a giant lithium battery right next to them, which you would think could trickle charge the 12v forever, if they didn't have such a high drain while system is off.

I think it is a bad example given. It is still very possible with not fancy cars to lock your wallet or your baby in a car. The solution is the same in either case: find a rock.

ok use rocks, but I would rather use spare keys, or not get locked out just because of the 12v battery - not me locking myself out.
