I miss usenet. It seems the free servers (AIOE, eternal september) have been down for some time, and sdf also lost its feed. Anyone have a recommendation for a server (free or not)?

I used to do a lot on usenet but after uni it started filling up with junk that at this point besides release announcements for projects, there really doesn't seem to be much discussion going on there.

Discussions? After early 90's it was all about binaries. I always laughed about getting all my movies for free from Time Warner's servers...
