Re: "Ubik (Philip Kindred Dick)"
I read this not too long ago and loved it. The scenes where the main character is getting nickled and dimed by his appliances seems all to familiar in this day and age where it seems like we don't own our technology anymore. The only other PKD book I've read is "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?", which I also really enjoyed. I plan on reading more of his work. Sometimes I feel like we are living in one of his novels.

@mz i have also read ubik and dadoes but so far i didnt really get into his other works because back then i felt like he was really sexist. He was a troubled man ... I really like dadoes and ubik though

To be fair, a lot of it was written when getting your butt pinched was a part of the job description for secretaries.

Ubik (Philip Kindred Dick) โ I was rereading Ubik and discovered, that I managed to completely forget Pat even existed. Considering what she doesโฆ The rereading did not disappoint ๐ฑโ
