Dealing with a SD card botched by a Switch (or just hard life it had before ending up in it)
Honestly, I think the easiest would be to just wipe the whole thing clean and then spend an hour or so downloading all the stuff again. I would hate wasting this much time in exchange to no fun, but hey, at least everyone in the house will be happy (for a minute).
2026-01-04 - Seems to be working fine. The device seems to have become slightly more stable when it comes to launching games even. Before, it would occasionally complain at corrupted data and have to download the game (or its parts, I guess), but it hasn't happened even once since the "fix". Very nice!

Are you downloading with a 56Kbaud modem? I haven't spent an hour downloading anything last decade...

You would think! But my ISP is declaring 200mbps max download speed, yet in reality p90 is like 50mbps and p50 is about 15. Basically a 56k equivalent of 2026.
