I held out with a flipphone into 201x's and loved charging once a week.
I bought Nokias for $5 on EBay as they broke.
Eventually paying for my dumb phone cost as much monthly as 3 smart phones for the rest of my family, and my partner accused me of being an irresponsible parent.

I wish I could get an old Nokia. They shut down all 2G and 3G service in the region a few years ago, so the phones are unusable here.

I have thought a lot about how can using dumbphone be so expensive compared to regular ones. I use a double sim, two sim cards with one data/call deal, and the extra sim costs 7 euros per month.

I've been on and off dumbphones for couple of years now. Similar to my smoking habbit really. My current set to fight the online/sharing/being noticed is: I have an old Nokia e71 and a new Nokia flip that I use away from home. I bought an old digital camera and a bus card and do my banking on laptop. I've a smart phone at home that I use as a hotspot and to check signal messages. To ensure, or atleast make it more likely, I have degoogled and dumbed down the smart phone. I have only Rosy crow,...
