@stack it is unfortunately where most blogging occurs today if you want anyone to read it. Believe me, I hate using it too. I actually plan on posting most of the same things on my BearBlog (which is free and FOSS) but I want to see if maybe I can drum up some readership first. Idk. I'm just trying to get some ideas out there. I am also working on a good old-fashioned book, too.

Also we can agree Substack Bad but also most people complaining about it here probably use worse technology frequently. It's actually not *that* bad to provide writers an easy way to sell their work.

@boringbbsuser The BearBlog never generated a lot of interest so eventually I took it down. To answer your other question, as I kept writing, my ideas were evolving faster than I could write them down, so I have not finished it yet.
