There has been a recent phenomenon where Antenna is flooded with the output of a news aggregator. The content of the news aggregator itself is at least partly interesting to me, except for the articles in a language I do not speak. The problem, which bothers me a little but apparently bothers other people much more than me, is that it is crowding out the visibility of other content on Antenna. And possibly other aggregator sites, but mainly Antenna, in that anyone can submit their page or feed to be added to Antenna.

I'm going to halfway disagree with what was said. Please DO Keep Making News Aggregators. They provide a lot of useful and interesting content to read in Gemini, which is a reading-oriented space. Just... don't post the feed for your news aggregator to other aggregators so that every story shows up in the other aggregator. It's antisocial. What you *might* want to do is make a meta index for your news aggregator that has links to a page of links for each day's batch of updates. So a page for "Gemini News Updates For 2025/08/17" or whatever date shows up once a day in Antenna, or my personal Comitium feed. I think that would actually be a worthwhile contribution, and wouldn't crowd out anyone else's contributions.
