There was a derelict building in Southwark that had an old sign around it announcing that it had once belonged to a trade union. The lettering had been covered up, but some of it reappeared, and it had faded beauty. The only word remainging by the time I took this photo was "NATIONAL". I can't remember the rest, and the internet hasn't helped me. There's a bird's nest where the next word should start.
The building has long since gone, and a developer wants to put up a tower block.
