Occasional photos: Bletchley Park ceilings 📷
You may be aware of wartime code breaking at Bletchley Park: Alan Turing, Tommy Flowers, and so on. I once went there for a software craftsmanship conference. The code breakers worked in huts in the grounds of a Victorian country house. It's an odd looking muddle of a building on the outside, but the inside is much better, particularly the ceilings.
The conference was ok (as far as I can remember) but the good part was getting the code braking tour with some very old and very enthusiastic chaps.
