identify {path/to/image}

• Describe the format and verbose characteristics of an image:

identify -verbose {path/to/image}

• Collect dimensions of all JPEG files under current directory:

identify -format "%f,%w,%h\n" *.{jpg} > {path/to/filelist.csv}
