It feels like I've asked this question in different forums a dozen
times, because I never remember the answer.
So here's to asking for the last time! :D
Cheers,

it's mentioned in the faq, "4.2 How do I contribute to the official
Gemini site and documentation" :)
git clone git://gemini.circumlunar.space/gemini-site

Thank you! I found it now.
However, it also says to e-mail patches to Solderpunk. Afaik he hasn't
reliably answered to emails since at January. Is someone else handling
the repo these days?

AFAIK no, which is unfortunate. I've sent some diffs for the site this
year, some were committed and others ignored (like the updated italian
translation :/)
Depending on your issue, there's also the GitLab repository for the
specification, but it seems stagnant too.
(Honestly, I consider Gemini finished and it doesn't bother me too much,
since the community is there and alive, but it leaves a bad taste in the
mouth regardless.)

To be honest, Gemini is a simple enough protocol that you can almost keep
the whole thing in your head. And the common law's clear enough about
non-codified things.
