Id-ten-t Noobs shouldn't be allowed to play with such mysterous and 
powerful toys.  Then there is Hashnix.  The village where noobs are 
allowed to play.

So this post is being created by the seriously reviewed script that 
was originally written for a different platform.  It is designed to 
envoke nano and allow me to create a post.  Once the post is  complete 
the script goes on to update both the  gophermaps and  index.gmi 
files.

Particular THANKS goes out to kona, spuos, ingrix and flipperzero for 
all of your insights into this little puzzle.

Unfortuantly, as of this writing, there seems to be no way to pass the 
TAB needed to make the gophermap "live".  When I close this post I/We 
will see if my cludge 'fix' at least reminds me to address the broken 
toy.

ADDITION: .1  And it worked.  The cludge fix?  Before the end of the 
scipt it envokes  nano /home/pa2/public_gopher/phlog/gophermap
so I can manually insert the TAB and remove the \t.  Go figger.
Sometimes the easiest answer is the ... easiest answer. *Grin*
