wpa_cli

wpa_cli is the command line client for controlling wpa_supplicant. wpa_supplicant is the thing that lets you connect to WPA2/3 networks.

Connect to an open network

add_network # creates a network, it'll tell you.  we'll assume '1'
set_network 1 ssid "MY_SSID"
set_network 1 key_mgmt NONE
enable_network 1

list_networks
# figure out the number of the network you want, it should be the first column
select_network x # x = the number from above
