Short Introduction

King Hamlet of Denmark has mysteriously died. His brother Claudius has taken his place by marrying the queen. Prince Hamlet, son of the late, is told by a ghost with his father's appearance that his death was "most unnatural murder." He demands revenge.

Productions

These are various productions of Hamlet available that I can recommend. I have watched or heard several, but some were recommended to me by others.

Because the play takes about four hours to perform, most variations shorten the play by cutting lines to a reasonable total length.
