A forever favorite. I’m happy that it was on my ALOC list for viewing as it gave me a good easy target for tonight.
I noticed how breathtaking the sky is again when you take a long hiatus from observation. Just the simple delight of using your eyes and looking up. Seems like I take it for granted most nights when I have back-to-back observations. The night sky is simply beautiful, and worth observation through my eyes just as much as through the scope.
