Post-sad girl.
So last time I posted about how sad I was about my friends drifting away, especially that specific friend.
Well, I've had some time since then, I've done a lot of processing, and I feel better.
People will drift in and out of my life. I can't just collect people. And that's okay. I've decided that I'm going to just let it happen. The people that come into my life I will love and cherish, and the people that drift away I'll hold the memories dear. I can just live my life as best as I can.
Book update
Fuck A/S/L. It was phenominal, it was also devastating, and it had no closure. I hate that so much. I'm so tired of getting no closure in my fiction. Thankfully, I read a book called The Sapling Cage -Margaret Killjoy. That book was pleasant throughout. Simple YA fantasy novel about a transfem becoming a witch and fighting an evil death cult and political persecution. It was well written, had good characters, and had an ending with actual closure. I look forward to the rest of the trilogy.
New camera
I was influenced. I sold my old Nikon D5100, got what I was asking for it, and turned that into some cash to put down on a Fuji X-Half. I thought I'd hate that camera when it was announced. And there's a lot of stuff I don't like about it. But now that I have it in my hands, it's a perfect purse camera. The features and shooting experience are perfect for a camera that's half the size of my X-E3.
