Alhena
Alhena 5.2.5 dropped yesterday. It has support for printing (and therefore PDFs). There's optional favicon.txt support for the many sites that have them. Did I mention favicon.txt is optional?
If this is the first time you've heard of Alhena, it's a multi-platform Gemini client written in a memory safe language with features you won't find elsewhere:
- Color emojis on all platforms
- ZWJ (Zero Width Joiner) emojis
- Gemtext highlighting in Titan text editor
- Secure remote sync with database merge/replace
- Inline audio and video with VLC
- Printing
- Built-in html to gemtext converter
- System font support
Beyond that, it has all the features you might expect: TOFU, Spartan, Nex, Client Certificates. The only things missing to my mind are subscriptions and internationalization. Those will materialize at some point depending on interest.
Scriptonite and Lagrange
I updated Scriptonite to work around a decoding bug in Lagrange. A new version of Lagrange dropped today that fixes the main problem but there's still an issue. I'll rollback my workarounds when there's a complete fix. You can find more information at ultimatumlabs.com.
