3D printing at the local library
I know very little about 3D printing and I don't have the equipment or materials to do it at home. I was delighted to find out some of the public libraries in Chrischurch would accept requests for prints. You just had to submit a .stl file and pay for the cost of the materials by weight. Sadly, they had suspended the service for a while. However, 2 days ago I found out they reinstated it in 2 of the libaries. I got a half-height bracket for a low profile graphics card printed less than 48hs after placing the order and it only cost me $1.70 (NZD)! I got the files from:

That sounds really interesting! I haven't heard of anything like that here in Berlin. There's a study center around the corner that has a makerspace where you can do 3D printing and more. I've decided to get my own. I'm gathering my first experiences. I'm happy with the bambu lab a1 mini, you can get started right away.
