Alhena 5.5.0 Released

Alhena 5.5.0 is out with support for Gemini proxies and some cool printing enhancements. It's now possible to print color backgrounds (including gradients) as well as inline images.

Attached is a Astrobotony page generated by printing to PDF. The colors and fonts are defined by my custom style for that site. One word: Papyrus.

alhena is pretty cool ! Q. how do I get a protocol added by you to it? I made my own protocol and would love to share it with you. I want to set it up and run it and share it with the small web community . got a way to contact you?

Thanks! A lot would depend on the simplicity of the protocol and how it renders content. To be honest, having some momentum behind it would help a lot. There are other interesting protocols like guppy and scroll that don't have sufficient traction for me to devote a lot of time to.

All that said, you can find my email address at ultimatumlabs.com.

I think it would be helpful to have separate rendering settings for print (including PDF) than for screen, including: colours, fonts, whether or not to use colours for emoji and SGR, whether or not to show URLs of links, margins, and the header/footer (URL, date/time, page numbers). Including the table of contents in the PDF (so that the table of contents menu in the PDF viewer can be used) would be another idea.

@zzo38 I thought about allowing the user to make a custom style that could then be applied to all printouts. You can sort of do this now with existing styles and by switching to the font emoji. Making a global style with your printing prefs would also solve the problem if you could then disable it when you were done printing. That ability to disable/enable styles doesn't exist at the moment. You can only edit or delete them.
