Gemlog And Atom Subscriptions!
If you build from source - sourcerers for those who practice Bad Pun Monday - Alhena now supports subscriptions from gemlogs, changed headers and/or atom.xml.
A few notes...
When subscribing, Alhena will look for YYYY-MM-DD gemlog links. If detected, those become feed entries. If no gemlog links are detected, Alhena will instead use document headings.
Feed URLs are deduplicated just in time for multiple Antenna instances.
Feeds can be refreshed manually and automatically in the background on an hourly basis (interval subject to change). A toast message is displayed if feed changes are detected.
The Feeds and Subscriptions pages (like the Bookmarks, Servers, Certs and History pages) are effectively GemText and as such can be individually styled to your preference.
Like Split View, this is a big release so it may have to ferment before there's a formal release. If you have any thoughts on the implementation or what I've described, please let me know.
