Getting a raspberry pi pico to connect to MQTT server has bested me. Resorting to simple TCP calls to an event proxy app written in Go. Now I just need to send โ€œM01,24.5,50.4,994.3โ€ temperature, humidity, and pressure sensor readings and the app does the MQTT home assistant stuff.

Figuring out those types of protocols for a microcontroller is always a pain. The Pi Pico is one of my favorite development platforms though! :)
