Are there any sailers of Topper dinghies around here?
I own the boat with sail number 12970, built in 1979. Just last weekend, we took it for a regatta at the SCLM sailing club on Laacher See — great fun. I would like to encourage more Topper sailors in this region.

I am not and owner of a Topper dinghy. However, I just finished building a Spindrift 11 foot nesting version sailing dinghy. I am still waiting on a sai for it, but it rows pretty well.

That looks really lovely. It must be great fun to build one, albeit it would probably be way beyond my woodworking skill level.

Yes that is the one. It was fun to build and not too dificult. I have had it on Pensacola bay Florida.
