Re: "I've been using Lineage on a Oneplus for couple of weeks…"
I've always wondered about that... it makes me uncomfortable that there's still a google logo when booting a pixel into grapheneOS. I'm not in a position to know how readily it could still be invading privacy after a new OS install. Is there some equivalent of libreboot for mobile architectures?

My understanding is that the logo appears long before anything runs that you can change. That is, it runs before the accessible bootloader. It's ironic that Graphene only runs on Google Pixel phones, but it is what it is.

The pixel will let you know you're booting a funny OS even though the boot loader is locked. A locked boot loader was important to me and only the pixel phones seem to support it. At least not unless you have a Fairphone, which I wanted, but I needed a phone on a sooner than two to three weeks timeframe.
If you use it and are happy, great! Less Google is better!

GrapheneOS can be run on other phones besides just Pixels. In fact, Motorola has just partnered with Graphene and apparently Motorola phones will be available with Graphene out of the box at some point.

At the moment I think it is only Pixel phones, but yes, Moto coming soon

The deal with Motorola, if it goes ahead, could be a really big deal. However, I don't think the plans are all that firm yet.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for any updates about newer Razr/Razr plus phones having Graphene in the future too. Sorry, I like the Razr plus phones too much.

@softwarepagan I've heard about the upcoming Motorola deal, but what would those other phones be? I thought they said not to use unofficial ports to other phones.

I've been using Lineage on a Oneplus for couple of weeks and been very happy about it. No changes compared to my previous android which had Google services and all possible google things turned off. Except of course, now there is no google. I recommend Lineage OS over Graphene as the latter IS a google phone.
